The horntools Rockslider is close-fitting, made of aluminum and has a steel support structure. In order to increase the rigidity of the slider panel, “dimple die” are pressed into the front side and thus replace the original plastic sill protection.

The steel holding structure is attached by pressing threaded rivets into the sill (note: the existing holes need to be drilled from 8.5 mm to 9 mm). On the underside, the holding structure is held in position by clamping the sill rebate.

The aluminum used for the Rockslider is particularly high quality and has a matt black powder coating.

Our Rockslider is a functional and lightweight cabin protection made of aluminum. Due to this lightweight construction, the slider is not suitable for a car jack. However, it offers more than adequate protection in moderate terrain.

After welding, each individual side skirt is placed on different test gauges to ensure a 100 % fit.
